..::Ventura Pack::..
(-+-A morning hunt-+-)
Swelek [Zavix], Kruuen [Anya], Ambrosia [Jessy], Senri [Rai]
(c) Ambrosia, bringing herself lower to the ground to start her hunting, is caught completely by surprise when Senri enters quietly. She jumps, yelping, but quickly apologizes, embaressed.
>>Zak.Cooro {Soothing&DIFFERENT}
Zak [Fay], Cooro [Rai]
(c) After some deliberating, Zak finally decides to carry Cooro on his back all the way back to the pack. The two are a little wary about it, feeling a little uncomfortable, but know it's probably the best and less painful way. The two stand, and Zak crawls under Cooro's belly to hoist her up. Once settled, the two slowly but surely make their way back to camp, noting a beautiful sunset on their way. It's not long before they're back in the forest, and not much longer after that before they stumble upon Zak's shy friend, Cloud. After some coaxing, Cloud decides to accompany them back to the Reind meadow, relaying that Angeal's been worried about Zak and has wondered where he's been...
FINISHED.

Soren [Sonidy], Zak [Fay]
As the tender morning rays of sunshine begin to filter into the Reind meadow, Soren -- the dire wolf seer of the Ventura -- steps out of his den. It's not long before he comes upon Zak, carrying Cooro, and his friend Cloud. Zak, eager to have Cooro helped and healed, greets Soren. He then goes ahead to ask the soothsayer if he could please have a look at the injured she-wolf on his back.

+ + & laiyn ! ~
Laiyn [Sonidy], Tassel [Rai], Roxis [Fay]
(c) Tassel playfully pokes Roxis' chest once he mentions he wants nothing to do with teasing Laiyn, commenting on how the Seori leader always takes the fun out of everything. Calling his friend 'old', Tassel flashes a joking grin before trotting over to the disgruntled Laiyn. The seer notes on what a 'sour pup' he's being, causing Laiyn to become defensive and stick a dignified nose into the air. Meanwhile, Roxis shakes his head, slightly amused, as he carefully climbs onto a flat, warm rock to watch. With some more prodding from Tassel, Laiyn's finally fed up and scampers off to hunt, grumbling all the way. He manages to catch a fieldmouse, burying it as he thinks irritably about what had just occurred. Roxis, feeling a slight twinge of guilt, reminds himself that it's for the good of the clan; they can't have everybody affording to be lazy! Figuring it's the best time to tell Tassel of his injury, the Seori coyote attempts to jump down from his perch only to fall, rolling in the grass for a couple feet. Tassel rushes over, quickly tending to Roxis' wound, mumbling about how he had to do his friend's dirty work and how he had acquired this injury. Roxis retells the story of how he had been attacked by the hawk on last night's patrol, but then quietly asks the seer if he's a good enough leader. He feels a little doubt after the encounter with Laiyn; having had to take on the position of leader at a young age, Roxis hadn't had all the training and preparation most of the other leaders got. Tassel shrugs it off, saying that Laiyn's always like that and always will be; there was nothing to worry about. Done healing Roxis' shoulder, he orders him to be careful with it -- it'd be stiff for a few days. Roxis thanks Tassel, testing out his newly healed wound.

Rena [Mienzhyre], Reiner [Jessy], Dreizehn [Rai]
((This thread is now put on hold until "{ the learning of KR'AL }--&" is complete.))
{ the learning of KR'AL }--&
Alexei [Rai], Dreizehn [Rai], Yura [Sonidy], Akiria [Sonidy],
Kiros [Ryan], Rena [Mienzhyre], Reiner [Jessy], Kyushina [Fay]
(c) Yura's eyes widen at the sight of so many dogs coming to cast a greeting towards Akiria. Akiria herself tries not to be nervous, beginning to feel more comfortable once Yura pointed out that the games were about to start. Dreizehn finally moves out of the way once enough dogs are situated around the newcomer and his half-sister, and makes his way to Rena and Reiner, casting them a greeting. Alexei finishes welcoming Akiria before turning to her friend, Kyushina, and explaining the situation before them. The two then head over to the prey pile again, where they strike up a conversation over food. Kiros, watching his mate go, offers to give a tour to Akiria, and Yura happily follows as well. Dreizehn, answering Rena's question about the games starting, suggests they get a bite of food. Reiner agrees, smiling at Rena. Alexei then asks Kyushina if she'd like to participate in the games -- as they were about to start -- and the paprika-furred canine finally gives in. They head over to the butterfly-hunt area, speaking with the dog in charge (a large mastiff by the name of Damon). Before they begin, Kyushina teases the Straumura leader -- loser catches the winner's breakfast! Alexei rolls her eyes, accepting, before pouncing into the arena at the starting signal. Akiria and Yura, beginning to get bored by Kiros' speech about the pack's history, decide to ditch him for some butterfly-hunting with Alexei and Kyushina. Everything goes well until Akiria accidentally manages to kill a butterfly with a dart. Yura, saddened, tells her new friend that she has to sit out -- she broke one of the rules. Akiria's very apologetic, explaining that she hadn't meant to murder it, but rules are rules. Yura then offers to sit out with her for the remainder of the game.

..::Pareil Pack::..
theFEAST &&x ;}} -
Keina [Sonidy], Count D [Rai], Kadaj [Rai]
(c) Just as Keina's lazily scolding Kadaj and D for not getting along, Laeco begins to choke on his piece of prey. The Pareil leader turns to him, eyeing D, and casually asks Laeco what is the matter. Wheezing and panting heavily, the coughing canine answers that he's probably been poisoned. Keina watches indifferently, the pack beginning to note something wrong about the dying Laeco. They gaze at him, realizing that no one really cares for the canine, until he finally passes away, still as a rock. All is quiet until someone pipes up about him eating Count D's prey -- what if the sibyll was trying to poison them all? Keina nods, speaking to D about his mutiny, and orders her pack to capture him. However, the Count remains unfazed, rising to his paws. Within another heartbeat, the air around him begins to waver, causing the Pareil dogs to stop in their tracks. They stare around them, wide-eyed, as things around them begin to change, transforming until they seemed to be trapped in a dense rainforest. Large insects buzz around and bird calls are heard all around. Enormous tigers begin to emerge, growling, blood staining their claws. While the canines around him begin to panic, D slips into the shadows, satisfied that the Pareil are caught in his illusion. He hated to use his trump card, but it was necessary in this case. Keina, a tad intimidated by the ferocious, striped felines, keeps her cool and realizes it's just one of Count D's illusions. Calling to her pack, she tells them to remain calm, letting them know it's unreal. Pointing in the direction of D's escape, she watches as they push away their fear and rush after the escapee, Faloir in the lead. The arctic fox has a rare ability to track down anyone; there's no way for D to get away. In another minute, the Pareil catch up to the black fox, surrounding him with snarls. The Count finally realizes running is no longer an option and turns to face his foes. After successfully dodging an oncoming canine with his super speed, Kadaj can hold back no longer and lunges forward. Bringing out his dagger, he hits D's skull with the butt-end of it, rendering the sibyll unconscious. Beckoning to two nearby members, he ordered them to carry the fox back to camp. When they arrive, Keina is especially pleased; the loner is to be put with the other sibylls in the basement of one of their buildings -- a prison of sorts. She beckons to Faloir, commanding her to gather an army. They are to be weak no more! The Count finally wakes some time later to find himself in the Pareil's prison, with no chance of escape. Accepting defeat, he figures he might as well make himself at home...

Lei [Rai], Jay [Fay]
Upon the Lekn shore, a little German Shepherd pup sits alone, watching the steady waves beat upon the sand. Covered in sand herself, the little pup -- named Lei -- sighs, finding peace in the vast amount of water. Meanwhile, Jay of the Pareil Pack attempts to quietly leave the Feast going on, but with little success. Finally free of the many questions he had been constantly asked, he's surprised when he sees a lonely figure on the beach. He had been so caught up in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed her. Knowing that he should just walk away in the other direction, Jay shocks himself when he walks up to Lei, asking her as to why she's not at the feast with the other loners. Having not expected anyone to approach her, the little German Shepherd yelps, caught unawares. Recovering, she looks up at Jay curiously, staring at his bandages forelegs before staring up at his eyes. She had never seen a fox so tall! (In all reality, Jay was a maned wolf -- he looks exactly like a fox, but with legs twice as long.) She hadn't known about any feast, and wonders why he wasn't there himself. Along with her question, she gives Jay a nickname he's never heard before -- Long-legs. A bit disgruntled by the new name, the maned wolf shrugs it off; she's only a pup. He explains what the feast is all about and goes on to introduce himself. After Lei shyly admits her own name (her mama had warned her never to trust strangers... but this Jay wasn't causing any harm), Jay offers to "escort" the pup to the feast. Perhaps she'd find her brothers there! As they walk and talk more about the Pareil's feast, Lei finds herself tripping over roots sticking up from the ground, though she refuses to complain or let her spirits be lowered. Finding sympathy on her, Jay finally helps to lower the roots for her, finally grabbing her by the scruff over an especially tricky obstacle. As they continue, Jay finds out that Lei's most likely an orphan and hasn't seen her mama for almost a year. He feels bad, but knows there's nothing he can do... all he can do to try is to take her to the feast and hope someone will claim her. She calls him by Long-legs again, but Jay just grins and responds by playfully calling her Shorty. In the next moment, they arrive at the park where the feast is being held, but Jay senses something's wrong...
